slapped cheek syndrome
my eldest appears to have this it is very strange only symptoms are pink/red "slapped" looking cheeks-witha slight temp and a bit of a headache-he is fine in himself but the birght cheeks due look perculiar on his normally pale skin
I have Parvo B19 virus also called fifth desease and slapped cheek syndrome. It is quite normal for younger children to get it. I am a 49 year old female that has gone through 2 lung transplant and now I can not get rid of this Parvo (not close to the dogs desease so I didn't get it from dating dogs!) I have to get IVIG (gamagaurd) IVs once a month for a year. It destroys my red blood cell and I get very anemic and short of breath. I even look pretty much like a clown with the red cheeks! lol VickiV33 Please excuse the spelling
